In 1982, Basildon Philatelic Society played host to the annual Autumn Rally of the Association of Essex Philatelic Societies. The event was staged at the Pitsea Leisure Centre. A souvenir postcard was produced depicting Herbert J. Cook’s drapers shop and Post Office c.1920. |
