Basildon Philatelic Society is conveniently located close to Basildon Town Centre. Our venue, the George Hurd Centre, has ample car-parking and good public transport links.

By Car:
From Nether Mayne (A176) turn left, no right turn, into Cherrydown West. Fauners is the first turning on the left after parade of shops. The George Hurd Centre is next to the Salvation Army Hall and has its own car-parks. The main car-park is at the rear with a smaller car-park outside the main entrance. By Bus:
Basildon Bus Station is a comfortable ten minutes walk from the George Hurd Centre. Local bus stops (x on map) are located in Ashdon Way and Nethermayne (A176). There are few buses running after 18.00.

By Rail:
Trains from Basildon rail station run frequently throughout the day from London Fenchurch Street, Southend Central and Shoeburyness. London Underground connections can be made at Upminster, Barking and West Ham. For further details of train services please visit the c2c website..
